FusionHome AI – Shipping & Delivery Policy

1. Scope & Applicability

This Shipping & Delivery Policy (“Policy”) applies to all orders placed on FusionHome AI that require domestic or international shipping and/or installation services. By placing an order, you acknowledge and accept that shipping costs, delivery times, and related services are subject to the terms described below.

2. Shipping Fee Estimation & Final Fee

2.1 Estimated Shipping Fee​

At checkout, Fusion will display an estimated shipping fee based on product type, typical packaging dimensions, weight, and destination zone. This estimate serves as a guide only.

2.2 Final Shipping Fee​

Because furniture and large items vary significantly in size, weight, packaging, and volumetric weight, the final shipping fee can only be determined after the items are consolidated and properly measured at Fusion’s warehouse or logistics centre. The final fee will reflect actual:

  • Dimensions (length × width × height)
  • Actual weight or volumetric weight (whichever is higher)
  • Packaging requirements, crates, protective material
  • Destination country / city / delivery address
  • Any additional services (e.g. white-glove delivery, installation)

Fusion will notify you of the final delivery fee after measurement.

2.3 Payment Requirement before Dispatch

You must complete payment of the final shipping (and installation, if applicable) fee within 48 hours of receiving our fee notice. Failure to complete payment may result in delays, storage fees, or cancellation of delivery.

3. Delivery Time & Transit

  • Delivery times shown on product pages or during checkout are estimates only.
  • Actual delivery times depend on production lead time, shipping schedules, customs clearance, destination port congestion, and last-mile delivery logistics.
  • Fusion will notify you of expected delivery windows once goods are shipped, and provide tracking information where available.

4. White-Glove Delivery & Installation (Optional Add-On)

For large items (e.g. sofas, beds, bulky furniture) or items requiring assembly, customers may choose Fusion’s White-Glove Delivery & Installation service.

  • Multi-person delivery to room-of-choice
  • Assembly of furniture (if applicable)
  • Removal of packaging materials
  • Positioning of furniture as per customer’s instruction

The fee for White-Glove service will be included in your final invoice (on top of shipping) and depends on item size, delivery address, and installation complexity.

5. Shipping Restrictions & Customer Responsibilities

  • For overseas orders, customers are responsible for any import duties, taxes, or customs-related charges, unless otherwise specified.
  • Customers must ensure delivery address details are correct and accessible for large-item delivery (e.g. building access, lift availability, floor, stairs, etc.).
  • If a customer refuses delivery or fails to meet delivery conditions (e.g. no lift access when required), additional handling, storage, or return fees may apply — these will be charged to the customer.

6. Damage, Missing Items & Claims

  • Upon delivery, customers should inspect items immediately for visible damage or missing parts.
  • Any damage, defect, or missing items must be reported to Fusion within 7 daysof delivery — with photos/videos and order/shipping documents.
  • Fusion will assist in liaising with suppliers or logistics partners to seek remedy. However, final resolution depends on supplier and shipping policy; Fusion does not guarantee outcome or timeline.

7. Transparency & Disclosure

  • Fusion does not apply hidden markups to international freight or delivery costs.
  • All shipping fees shown (estimated or final) are based on real costs from our logistics partners and are passed through transparently.
  • When submitting final shipping fees, Fusion will provide an invoice/breakdown showing: product cost, freight cost, packing/handling/installation surcharges, taxes/import duties (if any) — for full disclosure.

8. What to Expect — Typical Workflow

  1. Customer places order — checkout shows estimated shipping fee.
  2. Fusion sources items, arranges consolidation, waits for goods to arrive at warehouse.
  3. Items are measured/weighed. Fusion obtains final shipping quotation from logistics partner.
  4. Customer receives fee notice + balance invoice (shipping + installation).
  5. Customer pays within 48 hours → Fusion schedules delivery + installation.
  6. Delivery occurs; customer inspects and reports any issues within 48 hours.

9. FAQ(Common Questions)

Q: Why can’t you give a fixed shipping fee at checkout?

A: Furniture items vary widely in dimensions, packaging, and volumetric weight. Fixed fees risk large inaccuracies, leading to overcharge or loss. Estimation + measurement ensures fair and transparent pricing.

Q: Can I choose a cheaper shipping method (e.g. economy shipping)?

A: For bulky furniture, we offer consolidated freight + white-glove delivery. If you want economy or self-pickup, please contact us before ordering — we will check feasibility case-by-case.

Q: What if final shipping cost is higher than estimate?​

A: The final fee reflects real logistics cost. We encourage customers to review the fee notice promptly. If you decline to pay, the order may be cancelled and original furniture purchase refunded (subject to restocking / supplier policies).

Q: Are import taxes included?​

A: Import duties, GST or customs taxes (if applicable) depend on destination country’s regulation. Fusion will advise estimated duties, but final amount is paid by customer (unless Fusion agrees to include).
